The secret recipe for perfectly relaxed CIOs and CISOs.
The magic of the Chromium cookie, and other way SURF SEcurity’s Enterprise Zero Trust Browser protects your organisation.
Google has released a blog about how Chromium fights ‘Cookie Theft’ by binding cookies to a particular session on a particular device. Thus making the job of ‘Cookie Theft Malware’ exponentially more difficult. You can read more about this here: https://blog.chromium.org/2024/04/fighting-cookie-theft-using-device.html
Of course, since SURF Security’s browser is based on Chromium, our customers enjoy this level of protection too.
But we offer more as well:
- The SURF browser stores cookies in a secure vault, inaccessible to malware.
- The SURF browser being installed and the session authenticated on a device means that there’s a physical condition that needs to be met, so even stealing the cookies won’t be of much use.
It’s just another way we ensure that the CIO or CISO that run’s SURF Security browser sleeps soundly at night.
